The dangers posed to liberty, democracy and the environment by the modern political establishment - through commercialism, populism, race-hatred and paternalism - have grown beyond our own ability to resist them while maintaining modernity. The New World Order threatens us more than the Cold War ever did. Do we surrender to apathy, or act to preserve social and political liberties generations of our ancestors fought long and hard to gain for us?
